Description: The Manager of Facilities Services assists the Director of Facilities in maintaining the Denver Art Museum building environments and Cultural Campus in line with the goals of the institution. This position oversees the planning, design, construction, maintenance and alteration of equipment, buildings, machinery, and other facilities. This position gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, organization or government regulations, and construction feasibility. They plan, budget, and schedule facilities modifications including estimates, bid sheets, layouts, contracts, and labor/material requirements. They inspect the construction and installation progress to ensure compliance with established specifications, space allocation, layout, and timetables. Areas of oversight for this position include basic operation and maintenance of all roofing systems, window systems, grounds maintenance, as well as HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems to ensure maximum efficiency and performance. This position assists with personnel issues and capital improvement planning, as well as Prevailing Wage related issues.
