Maranda Compton & Josh Krebs
Van Ness Feldman is honored to introduce the firm’s newest partners who share the common traits of talent, energy, and a passion for work, family, and the well-being of others. Maranda and Josh have distinguished themselves not only through their professional success, but by their superlative relationships with clients and colleagues. They have become an important part of the firm’s success over the past several years and will undoubtedly lead the firm into a bright future.
A leading member of the firm’s nationally recognized Native Affairs practice, Ms. Compton is the first Native American to be elected Partner from within the firm’s ranks in its history. She will continue to work primarily from Denver and Washington DC, where she represents tribal and non-tribal clients in commercial transactions and project development and advises clients on issues of federal, state and tribal regulations, environmental permitting, energy, and natural resources. An enrolled member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians and the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, Ms. Compton holds a J.D. from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, and a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross.
