Elder’s Progressive to Assist American Indian Elders with Microenterprise Development
02/06/2015 Denver,CO - Rocky Mountain Indian Chamber of Commerce/Native Inc launches the Elder’s Progressive for 2015. Special thank you to partial grant support from The Denver Foundation. The Elder’s Progressive is an economic development project aimed at assisting American Indian Elders to launch microenterprise opportunities with the assistance of American Indian Youth. Participants of the program receive Financial Literacy Training, Business and Professional Development workshops, exposure and promotional support at RMICC Special Events throughout the year, and inclusion in the Natives Go Global Delegation. The ultimate goal of the project aims to continue American Indian Arts and Craft legacies with American Indian Youth while assisting American Indian Elders with a potential income generator.
