Reclaiming Native Truth

NICWA served on the 20-member Advisory Committee of Reclaiming Native Truth–a national effort to foster cultural, social, and policy change by empowering Native Americans to counter discrimination, invisibility, and the dominant narratives that limit Native opportunity, access to justice, health, and self-determination. In this NICWA News, we share the newly crafted narrative, "The Importance of Upholding the Indian Child Welfare Act," found in Changing the Narrative For Native Americans, A Guide for Native Peoples and Organizations. Read more about the narrative from NICWA News, and share the ICWA narrative with others.
