DIHFS POLICY UPDATE

Sliding Scale Fees

Suzanne Freyta
Front Office Manager | IT Coordinator

DIHFS rolled out our new sliding fee discount program effective June 01, 2018. As a way to better serve to patients who are unable to provide tribal ID or Certificate of Indian Blood, a discounted fee will be offered according to the sliding fee scale and will follow the income guidelines of the Federal Poverty Level.

The discounted fee will cover medical, behavioral health, diabetes program and physical fitness appointments only.

Sliding fee discounts do not apply to dental appointments.
The fee does not include lab work or pharmacy fees.
