HB18-1009 (Roberts (D) | Donovan (D) - Diabetes Drug Pricing Transparency Act

This bill is requires pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy benefit managers to report certain information to the state board of health to be complied in a report that will be submitted to the general assembly.  Advocacy groups that receive support from industry must also submit information to the state board.  Failure to report may result in financial penalties.  This bill is modeled after legislation that is being litigated in Nevada.  


 

HB18-1053 (Arndt (D) & Hansen (D) | Donovan (D)) – Reclaimed Water Use for Marijuana Cultivation

This bill codifies rules made by the CDPHE regarding allowable uses of reclaimed water, defines water quality standards and adds the cultivation of marijuana as an allowable use of reclaimed wastewater.


 

 

HB18-1069 (Arndt (D) Thurlow (R) | Coram (R)) – Reclaimed Water Use for Toilet Flushing

This bill codifies rules made by the CDPHE regarding allowable uses of reclaimed water, defines water quality standards and adds toilet and urinal flushing as an allowable use of reclaimed wastewater.


 

 

HB18-1083 (Kraft-Tharp (D) & Sias (R) | Williams (D) & Tate (R)) – On-demand Air Carriers Sales and Use Tax Exemption

This bill would provide and exemption from sales and use taxes for purchases of aircraft used by an on-demand air carrier. This exemption is similar to other exemptions provided to other aircraft purchases.


 

HB18-1093 (Arndt (D) | Coram (R)) – Reclaimed Water Use for Edible Crops

This bill codifies rules made by the CDPHE regarding allowable uses of reclaimed water, defines water quality standards and adds the ability for reclaimed wastewater to be used to irrigate food crops if the water meets standards outlined in the Food Safety Modernization Act.


 

 

HB18-1128 (Wist (R) & Bridges (D) | Lambert (R) & Court (D)) – Strengthen Protections for Consumer Data Privacy

A bill from the Attorney General's office, this bill updates and expands Colorado existing data breach notification statute, which currently requires companies possessing personally identifiable information of its customers to maintain a document retention and destruction policy and establishes when customers must be notified of a security breach. C3 doesn't oppose the concept of this bill, but a number of important items that impact all of our members need to be addressed before we can support it. That includes numerous definitional and wording changes, along with a burdensome requirement to notify the AG's office of any breach, whether or not customers need to be notified, within seven days of discovery of a breach.


 

HB18-1135 (Kraft-Tharp (D) & Wilson (R) | Tate (R)) – Extend Advanced Industry Export Acceleration Program

The Advanced Industries Export Grant Accelerator Program provides assistance for small and medium- sized businesses offset international business development and marketing costs. This bill extends the advanced industries export acceleration program through 2024.


 

SB18-038 (Coram (R) & Donovan (D) | Willett (R) & Esgar (D)) – Reclaimed Water Use on Industrial Hemp

This bill codifies rules made by the CDPHE regarding allowable uses of reclaimed water, defines water quality standards and adds the cultivation of hemp as an allowable use of reclaimed wastewater.
