CO Chapter of DAR Doubles Scholarship Support

12/28/18 (Englewood, CO) - The Colorado Chapter of the the Daughters of the American Revolution supported the 2018 American Indian Achievement Awards by sponsoring their first $1000 Scholarship.  This year's recipient was
Halle Sago (Zuni Pueblo and Mescalero Apache) an ENVD - Architecture major at University of Colorado at Boulder.

The CO Chapter of DAR invited Halle and RMICC to the December Chapter Meeting/Brunch at the Glenmore Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Englewood CO.  Members of the Chapter got to meet Halle and learn about the Goals of the Scholarship Program.  Halle was recognized with a Certificate of Achievement.  An attendee of the Brunch pledged an anonymous $1000 match of Halle's original scholarship.

Special thanks to the Colorado Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and The Tesoro Foundation/Holly Kinney for making this possible.
