I am a Small Business Development Consultant & Instructor who possesses over 40 years of corporate, small business, non-profit development and community organizing in Colorado. Since 1997, she has designed and delivered quality, comprehensive and customized education-based training programs, consulting and coaching/mentoring services for adults and inner-city youth. My multifaceted entrepreneurial background includes the ability to identify, develop and sustain strategic partnerships with grass-roots organizations, community leaders and the business sector in Colorado which creates new opportunities for small businesses and community members to make a positive and lasting economic impact. I am a former Radio Host and Marketing Director for Latin Life Denver Media/Radio. My Currently I am the Co-Founder, Producer and Host for The American Indian Reporter (AIR) Digital Radio Program in the Jammin/KZKO Studio located in Lakewood, CO. I was born and raised in the heart of the original Five Points District in East Denver in a family (during 1970’s) who was directly involved with the Chicano Civil & Human Rights Movement at the Crusade for Justice; I am a graduate of Escuela Tlatelolco, a school founded from the vision of Denver’s Chicano Leader, Rodolfo “Corky” Gonzales. I was a member of the Black Berets, a positive, politically conscious youth organization who served the community in many facets! From this experience and with the support of my family, it was the beginning of my journey to become an educator and advocate for small businesses and to continue my community engagement! In October 2004, President Clinton visited my small business/entrepreneurial training program at Mi Casa Resource Center in Denver, CO
